Additional Licensing Scheme
As you may be aware from January 2010, Denbighshire County Council has confirmed the designation of an additional licensing scheme in respect of Houses in Multiple Occupation, covering the west end of Rhyl.
Definition of Additional Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMO)
3 or more storey’s, which is occupied by 3 or more persons who form 2 or more separate households, where at least 1 of the households is not fully self contained (where there may be sharing of facilities).
3 or more storey’s, which is occupied by 3 or more persons who form 2 or more separate households, which are fully self contained, but do not meet the 1991 Building Regulations and where less than two-thirds of the self contained flats are owner occupied. We can assist you throughout this process from start to finish and even thereafter. This can include as little as assisting you in completing the application form to becoming the license holder on your behalf and then managing the properties.
